ICT, Systems & Digital
The systems side of the same organisation: websites, infrastructure, data and the governance that has to come with new tools.
Organisations whose records and reporting have outgrown spreadsheets.
What the work covers
- Website design, development and ongoing management
- Systems development, installation and configuration
- Cloud infrastructure management and migration
- Network configuration and ICT procurement
- Data analytics, dashboards and reporting
- AI adoption for business, with governance
- Digital marketing and corporate documentation
What you are left holding
- Requirements and configuration documentation
- Working system with test evidence
- Migrated and reconciled data
- Governance note, user procedures and trained internal owner
The work in detail
The ICT and digital practice covers the systems side of the same organisation: websites, systems development and installation, cloud and network infrastructure, ICT procurement, data analytics and reporting, AI adoption, digital marketing and corporate documentation. It exists because HR and management recommendations increasingly depend on systems that can actually hold the data.
Most failed implementations we are called into were not software failures. Records were held across a payroll spreadsheet, a leave book and a filing cabinet that disagreed with each other, and the new system inherited the disagreement at speed and in public. So requirements are written and signed off first, and data is reconciled and cleaned before any migration.
We then automate one process end to end with a human checkpoint before expanding, and we treat governance as part of configuration rather than a later policy exercise: what the system may decide alone, who is accountable, and where the audit trail sits. Handover includes written procedures, training and a named internal owner, because systems are abandoned for lack of an owner far more often than for lack of a feature.

Scenarios, for reference
Three systems, three headcounts
Payroll, the leave register and the staff list each produced a different headcount. Reconciliation to a single authoritative register came before system selection, and the resulting figures survived audit.
A website nobody could update
An organisation depended on an unavailable developer for every text change. A rebuild on a maintainable platform, with two staff trained and a written procedure, ended the dependency.
AI in screening, without a decision owner
A client wanted automated CV screening. We configured it to rank rather than reject, kept a named human decision-maker, and documented the logic, so the process could be explained if challenged.
